Women dominate the rankings of China’s top financial advisors, increasing their lead to 31 (28 last year) out of the 50 named in the annual Forbes China list.

The top three women were Grace Chen, an assistant president at ICBC’s private bank, Chen Juan, a relationship manager at China Merchants Bank’s private bank, and Chen Kan, team manager at CreditEase Wealth Management.

Korea on the hunt for new SWF head

Korea’s sovereign wealth fund KIC is looking for a new CIO after the sudden resignation of Lee Dong-ik who quit this week.

Asian Investor says this is the second high profile departure at KIC in recent months.

Asia Insurance Review reports that international Swiss insurance company Nationale Suisse has received a licence for its Singapore branch from the local authorities, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, allowing it to insure risks directly and to offer reinsurance in Singapore and other Asian markets.

China’s listing season gets off to a good start

The first two Chinese companies set to list their shares on domestic exchanges after the end of a regulatory freeze said they had attracted strong investor interest, a good sign for dozens more that plan to follow this month, says Singapore’s Business Times.
